Not when the game is Guitar Hero: METALLICA. Sure you'll get some people buy the game because they are a fan of the franchise but its mainly aimed towards fans of the franchise and fans of Metallica. If people are buying it because it IS Metallica then whether or not Rock Band 2 has superior gameplay or not really is not gonna make a bit of difference.

Guitar Hero: World Tour or Rock Band 2? Thats where your argument really applies.

why would you come into a guitar hero forum and say something like that if your comments are going to be negative no one wants to hear them

to be honest i really wouldnt care that much if the game play is the same

NEW NEWS

If you previously downloaded the Death Magnetic song pack for the Xbox 360 or PS3 version, you'll also be able to play it with GH: Metallica. Meanwhile, those of you who buy the PS2 or Wii versions of GH: Metallica will get three songs from Magnetic - "Broken Beat & Scarred," "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse" - on the game disc itself to compensate for the lack of DLC support. The game will ship for Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 29th and is expected in early May for PS2 and Wii.

Too bad you can't get a version with just the non-metallica songs on it. that would be cool. Albatross rocks hard.
