Tags edited.

Same rules apply to tags as with all other aspects of the forums.
Humorous tags can stay, but anything personal, derogatory and abusive...goes.

I thought the last thread was hysterically funny up to a point. I felt things were said that were deserving of retalliation or maybe even a bit of banter and then I read the 12 brand new pages of it that happend while I was asleep. It's just gotten a bit out of hand now.

Plus it feels like all I've read on here all morning has been has been petty squabbling and in the case of some, from users that have barely scratched the surface of the music forums or posted anything worthy of note in their time here.

I just hate it when people gang up on someone, and especially when it comes from people who've joined days ago and think they own the place already. I don't want this place to become unpleasant for anybody, especially long time members who actually have and do contribute to the music parts of the forum. I think it's been a long time since we've had something similar happen and it's apparent that some people took that as a sign they can do anything they want and get away with it. One of the best things about this place is that we've managed to contain the amount of venom that usually comes when you let teenagers on the internet. I hope it stays that way...

Sorry about the diatribe by the way, I'm still a little angry that this got out of hand. :\

How do you think I feel.
I've virtually ceased to be a productive member on the music boards these days.
Most of my time spent here, is time spent communicating with the Admins, deleting spam, banning spammers and rogue members, replying to whiney pm's, editing threads and dealing with arseholes in general.
Even a fun thread turns out to be a bitchfest these days.

Im just bored to death of seeing what has now managed to become the very same thread twice over. Theres plenty of forums on the internet to be an arsehole and to be honest I dont think I've really seen it here since I joined, bar the odd comment or two and a bit of light hearted banter. I dont think we should all be forced to be comnpletely civil to one another or anything and sometimes things get posted and opinions get voiced that quite frankly deserve the absolute piss to be ripped out of them. Thats my perspective anyway but then again I'm English and thats how we roll.

I dont really come here to sift through pages of insults and arguments from what I can only hope and pray to God are children.

No man yer perfectly justified. There's no reason a bunch of little fucks should be allowed to villify someone like this -- especially a long-standing and valued member like savannah. I don't give a shit if that's how they talk to each other in real life but I know it's in absolutely foul taste to make personal attacks like this.

adidasss 03-18-2009 06:47 AM

Werd. I'm not accusing the mods though, I know they just weren't around when it happened.

Onwards and upwards.
