It certainly doesn't hold up to Legavulin or Oban, but its a nice blend. I'd throw Glenrothes and Auchentoshan into the mix with those two. The best of the twelve years is Old Pulteney for me.

only one of the classic malts I have yet to try, as i can not find it anywhere here:
Glenkinchie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

need to get that one to finish of the classic malts.

I have been searching for people out this way also that distribute the more obscure stuff.

The bar didn't have the 200+ scotch's they carry, this was the best selection available. Trust me I had my eyes on the Laphroaig 30 yr but I wasn't about to ask for the keys to the warehouse.

last night was a night for peppermint schnapps.

I don't think there's any other sort of liquor I love half as much as I love peppermint schnapps.

it's been too long since I've had a glass of cabernet sauvignon or pinot noir, though.
