This beer that I really like (and have posted about a few times) is actually being sold in Reflex so I had a few last night. It's not the same on a night out as it's too strong, especially after a few smooth ales/cranberry and vodka. But still, pretty neat.

Put a little vodka in it and then hell yeah!

I will be turning 18 in 1 year.

Which means I can start buying alcohol. I have only ever really had Guinness and Strongbow.

But I will probably be inviting my mates to come get wasted. At most, 7 of us.

What sort of alcohol would you recommend.

I have heard of the some of the popular ones like Jägermeister and JD.

Are they any good or is there something better?

I'm all about Evan Williams an 40s of Steel Reserve because I'm punk as ****, or rather, EW is like half the price of JD and 3% more ABV, and some high gravity lager is always cheap and 8% ABV

S'okay- not for everyone. It's got a weird taste imo. JD is your run of the mill cheap liquor, ain't bad- it'll **** ya up. You're not tryna get fancy with it, you're getting wasted.

I love Smirnoff Ice. It's practically like soda water really... but all that sugar gets you pumped up a bit. It's relatively cheap though low ABV. YOu can do like I do and pour some actual vodka in it- I usually pick up a 32oz and 200mil vodka and that's enough to get started depending on where my tolerance at the time.

Studies show that really it's just alcohol content. The whole myth and stigma against mixing beers/liquors/wines etc is just that. Only difference is liquor hits ya quicker and so when you're drinking liquor at the same pace your friends are drinkin beers... well, you're gonna get more ****ed up then them. Liquor is efficient, imo.

I just drank a full cup of espresso from the espresso cooker my mom bought and I think I'm gonna die.
