It's cheap at my local on a Tuesday, I like cider, go figure.

Tonight, the Pub Quiz is ours!

No matter how hard I try I just cannot get a hit from cider. I still class it as a refreshing drink and not a 'session' drink. After a while the sweet taste (even if it's a strong dry cider) kills my tastebuds and I give up and Strongbow is not one of my faves at all to be fair. It has a faint chemical taste that I can't get into.

Saying that, a lot of canned beer is not giving me much of a hit these days which is rather worrying. My craving for spirits which I generally cannot afford ATM is overriding my senses and I do pride myself on being able to consume lots of alcohol without it affecting any day to day aspects of my life but spirits are a different thing entirely.

I'm the opposite, I really hate lager (I know, I'm a pussy!). Obviously there's much better than Strongbow but when a student budget comes into play, it's often price over quality I'm afraid. With anything as soon as I've had 5/6 pints I'm ready to hit the spirits usually anyway.

I'd much prefer to drink cognac, rum and fine wine in an ideal world!

I like some cider, and I've had sessions on it in the past but I pretyy much agree with you in the sense that I would usually not be able to be on it all night.

At least it aint sweet cider. Devils beverage.

I love cider. Not really, really sweet cider but something more dry. I can down it quickly and it's something I could drink all night. Strongbow isn't bad at all. And it's cheap, and I'm a student!

Strongbow is passable. If its cheap, I may drink it.

Most sweet ciders are fucking piss though.
