4 cans of the stuff. Not normally my cuppa lager, but a mate was kind enough to give me them, so I'm not exactly complaining. On top of that, another mate's lent me £30 for the night out. It's weird, everyone's being generous to me all of a sudden.

Bavaria is better if you're going cheapskate. Both>Dutch Gold though.

Yup.Still prefer Smithwick's.Ever have Guiness in Ireland,right-track?
It does genuinely taste different outside Ireland.

Yes it does. And yes I have...in Dublin.
You can get a decent pint here in Manc in just about any Irish bar.
I just realised you're Irish...and you don't like Guinness?

Full Sail IPA: Weak- it's basically an IPA without hops or bitterness.

Mendocino Brewing White Hawk IPA: This is more like it- not the best IPA I've had, but has some depth and flavor. Kick's your ass if you try to chug.

Sapporo Reserve: Been snatching up tall cans of this- such a good beer when just kicking back.

It depends wildly on where in Ireland you're from.Up North(Ulster,Sligo) it's Smithwicks>Guinness.

Really? I thought Guinness was sacrosanct in Ireland.
Nowt wrong with Smithwicks.
