The Revolutionary War started in Massachusetts. The Declaration of Independence was signed in Pennsylvania. Jamestown being the capitol of part of England doesn't make it the birthplace of America.

The fact that you're trying to associate some battle that happened to take place in your home state with the birth of America shows your desperation to discredit Virginia's rightful historical relevance. God bless Virginia and may Robert E. Lee fuck your sister.

First Virginia is "the birthplace of America" because it once belonged to England, now it's all about its status as a state that wanted to break off from the United States. "We are America" seem like a weird phrase to use for it.
