Had a Willemoes stout. Now moving on to a porter of the same brand. Having one of each on a Friday is turning into a tradition for me. Really great beers in my opinion.

I don't really like whiskey so much, so I have a feeling I wouldn't be a fan of it, since I assume it's fairly budget tier?

I've had some kind of expensive whiskey that an uncle, who's very into whiskey, gave me a taste of. Only whiskey I've ever really liked and I don't know what it was called. Should be mentioned that I'm talking about whether or not a whiskey is good enough to drink with nothing added.

I'm more of a rum guy.

I think it's a step up from the entry level whiskey. Doesn't cost a bomb but it's not exactly cheap either.

Supermarket sells the large bottle for £35 but the local alcohol shop sells the same bottle for £22 I think.

I know there is sexier stuff out there just wondered if it was any good.

It's probably drinkable if you're more of a whiskey person than I am. I like rum, and I'm fine with some brands that are available in supermarkets, like some Havanna Club variants. Some stuff like Captain Morgan is only good for mixing drinks/cleaning toilets though.

It's good but I prefer Turkey.
