Oh my gosh lasagna sounds AMAZING right now.

Home made, with extra garlic and cheese. Ohhh gosh I'm making myself hungry. And I just had home made enchiladas, too. >_>

my fave meal for breakfast (and pretty much my daily breakfast) is: 0% plain Greek yogurt and wild blueberries w/a few tablespoons muesli atop. Yummy...

What is considered Japanese food?

Can you list a few dishes? I just think of sushi, rice and fish when I think of Japanese food.

yakitori - something like shish kebab
tempura - batter fried veggies and prawns
udon, soba and ramen - various noodles
saba shioyaki - grilled mackerel
unagi - eel
miso soup - consomme/broth of egg

various other stuff, which I think will look like a Japanese menu if I list them all out

djchameleon 03-16-2011 01:49 PM

hmmm interesting. I need to look for a Japanese restaurant near me. i would love to try some of those out.

I've become very interested in the Japanese diet as well. Mostly, it's let to me eating much more fish and vegetables, as well as drinking green tea every day. I feel a lot healthier for it, too!
