Also, that town with the Burger King reference is damned beautiful. Anybody know where that is? The street names look Norwegian or Danish.
Edit: Discovered the power of google. Apparently it's Stockholm, so so much for my linguistic skills.

They should have waited for a hell of a lot longer to make sure it was sorted out. Google had years and years of information put into their app. Not sure who was in charge of the new maps, but they're hopefully dead in a beautifully designed ditch somewhere. I know Google is making their own app, which should be out by Christmas, but I have Waze in the meantime.

That's exactly why I'm refraining from updating to iOS6 until I know I can have Google Maps again. Seriously, it's a damn good program and one of the best reasons to own a smart phone. Why would I want to downgrade like that? I had no clue it was as bad as those pics make it out to be, but that's definitely more reason to stay away.

I updated my iPhone's OS today but I never use Maps because I have a very limited data plan and instead rely on connecting to wifi networks. I decided to take a look at the Maps and it seems people are being pretty hyperbolic (people exaggerating on the the Internet?) because the maps of my hometown are remarkably well done.

Well then maybe I won't freak out so bad. But still... I like Google maps.
