Yeah the American one is true. We love to drink, and yet there's this weird prejudice that appearing intoxicated is somehow wrong and shameful.

Over here it's not shameful, in fact society is consumed by a culture of drinking alcohol. I feel kind of odd because I really don't drink that often. It's just not something I want to invest my money into.

We love us our beer, almost as much as we love our pot, at least in the west. Although I think the idea behind that picture was more how other countries react when intoxicated.
