Adele and Sum 41 had songs that were actually popular among a wide audience, and I know **** all about Bon Iver but I imagine they likewise sell beyond just a niche nerd audience. No idea about Yes' popularity throughout the years though. I know prog had a brief period of popularity, but other than that...

I only mentioned what I mentioned because it was noted as "popular albums" but I wasn't entirely sure what the basis was for pinning them as "popular". It could easily be due to my own ignorance.

I don't think I would call them popular as a whole, because a lot of the albums aren't. That's why I used critically acclaimed instead. With that being said though, you should start listening to those albums Ki, because a lot of them are ****ing brilliant.

I probably have listened to them, but I don't remember them since the album art isn't something I recognize. I bet i'd recognize the music though.

That's what I originally meant by popular. Should have used that instead but I was too lazy to think of the word.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
