Default Vista activation

Ok, this is a longshot but I figure there have to be a few bright, computer savvy people around here. I downloaded Vista Business edition SP2 and now I'm having a bitch of a time trying to activate it. Is there someone here who's managed to do it and can you please point me in the right direction?

Urgh...it's not even my computer, my sister promised to do it as a favor. I fucking hate computers...and people who try to make it more difficult to get pirated software....I mean, how very dare they! :\

Get rid of Windows and use Linux.

Seriously though, isn't there a key thing you need or a crack of some sort. Never pirated software that needed a key.

Ok, can we limit the responses to useful (a.k.a. not retarded) ones from now on? I've been on this fucker the entire day and questions such as the one posted above can only serve to get even more sand into my vagina.

If you're using a pirated copy of Vista, I wouldn't try activating it the normal way if I were you.
You'll need an activation crack.

I've been running windows unactivated since new years. It doesn't stop me doing stuff. I even bought a new vista and it rejected the code and I refuse to pay money on the phone to them asking how to sort it out. So basically, don't stress.

Some of the pirate copies don't need activating and will update without problems.

Is that normal or some sort of anomaly? What is this activation shit for anyway? I thought it limits the performance if it's not activated...*unsure*

And yes, I know I need an activation crack, I didn't just buy a computer, the question is which crack works. So far, I've been unable to find one which does anything...(possibly because I downloaded the latest version of Vista Business with SP2, most cracks were made for SP1).

Anyway, now I know why I still haven't upgraded to this piece of shit...I've also had major problems connecting to the internet (installing modems and wifis is apparently a major problem).
