Journals might be about views but everyone else's have the added perk of consistent comments

oh well, all in my mind. Unfortunately I'll probably never feel any different. I mean, I really shouldn't care at all but I'm a huge bitch.

The ratio of my posts to others is way lopsided. Like I'll have 70 and the next highest is 4, and like 6 others with 1

If you consider the bull**** commentary from members arguing over hip hop enticing, you probably don't know what it's like to have to report posts in your own journal to get people to stfu.

That's like the opposite of the truth. The only way anyone ever gets regular comments is if they ripoff Love or Hate. Otherwise journals get a steady 1/100 comment-to-view count. So unless you want to start taking recs and reviewing them just accept no one commenting.

This too. All my journals have like a 1/20 1/30 ratio.

Actually never mind that.

It's not important tbh, obviously journals are personal and still get read, just that stirring up discussion or feedback is a bonus. I'd still go on if I had no replies at all.
