I don't know, I just think it's odd to use the same rules for spam in a thread that was made for the sole use of spam. Plus like I said, one person shouldn't be a reason for closing a thread. Also, when Vanilla made this thread, it was asked of the mods whether it's a good idea or not, and evidently people thought it was a good idea, so it was left open.

I don't really have any issue with it being closed, but it just seems weird to close it with the basis that you're referring to.

Dude, who cares? It's one stupid, pointless thread that exists for the sole purpose of being stupid and pointless. It's not like it's really harming anything or clogging the forum. Applying rules to it just for the sake of applying rules to it just seems pedantic and arbitrary.
