I'm having a small inner tantrum at the moment-- apparently Eva Green is no longer attached to Vita & Virginia. (the movie coming out about Virginia Woolf and her friend/lover Vita Sackville-West) This lady will be playing Virginia instead. Guess I'll die! (Isabella Rossellini will be in it though, so there's that at least.) Gemma Arterton will be playing Vita.

I'm just thrilled that two bland, conventionally pretty actresses (with no unusual features whatsoever) are playing these two:


(It's not as if I don't believe a generically beautiful actress could convincingly play a neurotic suicidal poet-- after all Eva Green is very beautiful-- I am just doubtful that this Elizabeth Debicki lady will have the right presence/intensity. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED talk)
