(I don't have a car, so it would need to be somewhere with half-decent public transportation. Although here in Texas I just use Uber so I suppose I'll survive either way)

long hair was fun for like a week but you try to run or drive with the windows down once and goddammit it’s like you’re caught in a tornado of mops

cut it and will never let it get any length again because of that

Yeah, I realize the obvious solution is to simply tie your hair back when you're outside, but hair ties--same with headbands and anything that puts pressure on my head/neck-- give me headaches. (Will have to invest in scrunchies I guess)
