The little that I know about intersectionality is just a way to recognize people that are part of more than one minority/oppressed group and realizing that even if their larger fights in the long run are on one side or another that specific individual has more than one side to them that needs help with in the long run.

If you understood that then you are on your way to knowing a little bit more about it.
