it's his, guess I'm not allowed to ever use it. Then I'm like "Well I'd be getting my ID, and a job 100%, and give it back", and he threw the TV into the wall.

It's your birth certificate. Of course it's yours. The idea that your birth certificate should belong to him, especially when you're eighteen, is completely ludicrous. Your dad sounds crazy as ****. Just take that **** and if he doesn't like it he can call the cops and explain how his son stole his own birth certificate.
