LSD was popular then and LSD is becoming more popular in our current culture. But here's the thing: those things all have a demonic origin because when the bible speaks of sorcery or witchraft, it translates from the Greek word pharmakeia. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out what other words come from the Greek word pharmakeia. It's the root word for pharmaceuticals. So the reason it translates to witchcraft or sorcery is because all throughout history, potions and herbs and things like that have shown up in sorcery and in witchcraft, which are the ancient equivalent of what we know today as drugs.
