Are these definitely worth watching?

I went on IMDB a while back to get some films as I'm not into films, or telly really. Anyway, I got Shawshank, Godfather and Schindler's List as they had shit hot ratings. I only liked Shawshank, the other two were slow and dull, ended up turning them off.

Other films I like: E.T., A Clockwork Orange, Into The Wild, Saving Private Ryan.

My mate told me to get City of God but it's subtitled and I can't be arsed unless it's in English.

Oh most definitely. Some of my all time favourites right there. The odd one out is In the Name of the Father, but I included that because it's a great plot driven film.
