Records often have surface noise which ruins the quietness and sometimes causes skips...... With cassettes and 8 tracks (open reel also) IF IT WAS RECORDED RIGHT,its dead silent........

There is nothing more glorious than hearing analogue especially with NO dolby filtering (Which thankfully most of my 8 tracks do not have).........
