I dunno... I've grown somewhat fond of clothes and fashion and the like, so I guess I've come to enjoy the added commercialization that comes with it.

Abercrombie, American Eagle, Aeropostale = dull clothes for snotty kids

I don't gravitate towards any brands in particular but I have some Florsheim shoes like these (except in brown) and I love them. I'd be only too happy to own another pair.

I don't give two lights about what brand of clothing I wear. Comfy, loose jeans worn with a belt and any shirt will do me.
However with shoes I have a tendency to get Chucks or Reeboks.

I'm not one to promote certain brands by wearing items with huge logos or names on them, that's for damn sure. And I generally buy what I think looks good and/or looks good on me, regardless of brand.

That said, over the years I've liked jeans from Express Men (aka Structure for you old peeps like me), but lately they've had a lot with fake folds, holes, annoying logos and what not. I like the more subtle and basic ones. Over the past 10-15 years I've also liked their shirts, again the more subtle and non-douchey ones. I also discovered this store in Vancouver BC called RW & Co that really caught my attention the first time I went. Great colors not often seen at other stores, great detail, the clothes are relatively conservative but with the right amount of non-traditional detail that they appeal to me. I always look forward to a visit to Vancouver so I can hop in the store. Prices are reasonable too. The only problem is that their jeans (and probably all pants) don't offer different lengths, they are only differentiated by waist size. This is a big problem for me, as I'm tall and so all the pants are too short.

I buy most of my clothes from random boutiques or op shops.
