Thats an old break room chair from work. It's hard to play guitar with arm rests, so I cut them off with a hack saw. My last desk chair didn't come with arm rests, and I loved that thing, but it didn't survive the fire. I recorded quite a few tunes sitting in that thing, and this new one is about as close as I could get. It was also free, which is nice.

The swap was flawless. It's like nothing even happened, except for a little more zippiness. Going from Win 10 to Win 11 caused a few road bumps, but no big deal because, well, you know... I'm a professional.

...and the first order of business with the new setup: Model up the home in 3D. Because of course, thats what people do.

A bit more progress:

A snow simulation. The crew in the back trying to figure out what happened to the roof.

Ty

Thats on the 3rd floor. Haven't gotten that far yet. 2 BR's, a loft area, and master bath up in there. I'm thinking I might do all the actual wall framing, drywall, LVL's, joists, and rafters and turn it into a BIM project. It's snowballing from a simple idea of seeing what a few pieces of furniture would look like in a full scale 3D model into a huge pointless project. Just like I like em.

The crew's putting in some OT after that snow storm.

I gotta put this one on the back burner for a bit.
