What's the best program to copy (probably protected) data DVDs? I tried using DVD Decrypter but it says it's not a DVD. I guess I could just copy paste it but I have a feeling it's not going to work...

okay this might sound like im retarded with computers and usually im not, but I can't get my speakers to work. I have tried everything. How do you find out if you have a bad sound card?

if you just want a backup why not pack the files into a .zip or .rar file that any burning software / optical drive will recognize and handle then use a image mounting application (like Daemon Tools) to run them whenever you decide to use the games? since...

i really don't think it's actually possible to download a ps1 game image, burn it, then slap it into an actual ps1 and play the game. you'd likely need to use an emulator on your pc to get any use from those downloads. so how they're actually stored on a disc is rather irrelevant. i used to use ePSXe years ago, it was a hassle to setup but once you found all the necessary files (the emulator itself is legal, the necessary ps1 BIOS files are not) it was pretty solid.

Ok, so I got the emulator because it sounded kinda cool, now where do i get the actual games??

dunno. i just bought the games off the shelf to play on the emulator instead of getting the console.

coolrom.com is a very good site. You just download them and then access the file in the emulator. Its easiest if you make a file for the games.

ok i'm trying to upload a compilation to megaupload or mediafire. on both sites it shows me uploading the entire file instantly and sits analyzing or something. ever hear of this before? i have no idea what the problem is. usually when i upload it actually shows the speed and it takes a while.

Does it actually upload the file or does it just analyze forever?
I've had problems before with uploading sites where the progress tracker wouldn't appear to work correctly but the file was still being uploaded.

You can verify whether it's still uploading by right clicking your LAN connection (or wireless connection if you're using wireless) and choosing "Status". The packets being "Sent" should make it apparent that you're uploading the file, if indeed you are.
