To my chagrin, I have worn guyliner. My first girlfriend was adamant it was a good step. She also got me to straighten my hair (or more to the point she'd sulk until I let her do it). That relationship didn't last long.

Yes. But it did get me laid for the first time in my life, so I was willing to make exceptions. I also had much, much smaller balls to assert myself.
