Must have something to do with the X factor demographics and the slight resemblance to Robert Pattinson? I wouldn't know, just sayin'

They'll probably still sell records once they're allowed. The tween market will lap it up.

Even though i don't watch the X Factor and have seen it once this time around, thanks to bloody Facebook i feel i know everything about it. It's a horrible feeling.

And if i am not mistaken, these two specimens are...erm..."affectionately" referred to as twit and twat.

I agree with whoever said grills. That's just nasty. Same with baggy oversized pants. Oh! Hair extensions (yes I'm looking at you scene girls). It's just tacky.

FETCHER. 12-02-2009 03:52 PM

Especially ridiculously bad ones like this..
http://www.celebrityextensions.com/images/PICT0057.JPG

good extensions can be nice though, prime example Cheryl Cole
http://vocaltutor.files.wordpress.co.../06/cheryl.jpg

as much as I love cheryl cole she can be an advert for why too much volume is bad... Its like her poor little pretty face is being lost.

I know a way to solve that problem.

I love you so much sometimes I can't handle it.

And, for your amusement and mine, the Kwurzel massive.

One men: Goatee and (above all) baldness. Why the **** is a it a current trend to shave off your hair? Not a single person I've ever met looks better bald than with hair.

On women: Too much make-up. In fact, the only proper amount of make-up is none at all or such a small amount that you can't see that they are wearing it.

Mojo 12-03-2009 07:31 AM

I think a hell of a lot of blokes look better with a shaved head. Not everyone, of course. And you do realise that a lot of them dont choose to shave anything, dont you? :p:

I'm talking about younger blokes. I realize that some of them do it because their hairline retracted a few millimetres, but that's not a valid reason, it looks far worse to shave it off completely. A good example of what I'm talking about it Jack on Lost (or rather the guy who plays him):

http://www.nataliepants.com/wp/wp-co...ack-fp1997.jpg

http://z.about.com/d/lost/1/0/4/p/-/-/Jack.jpg

Alright, so he isn't completely shaved, but my point still stands.

NSW 12-03-2009 07:45 AM

I think he looks better in the first picture myself.

Arya Stark 12-03-2009 08:48 AM

Ditto, NSW.
He looks too old in the second one.

The Monkey 12-03-2009 09:13 AM

Can you point to a person who looked better bald than with hair? (And where he in the latter case had a decent haircut.)

Arya Stark 12-03-2009 09:18 AM

Well, a friend of mine here at school.
He used to have long hair.
REALLY nice long hair.
But he shaved it, and it actually suits him really well.

NSW 12-03-2009 09:19 AM

Jason Statham:
with hair:

without hair:
http://goremasternews.files.wordpres...on_statham.jpg

Being bald suits him, IMO anyway.

But, really I don't think it's a matter of someone simply looking better with or without hair. I'm just saying the bald look really suits some men quite nicely.

FETCHER. 12-03-2009 04:52 PM

He looks weird and wrong with hair. And sexyy without

jackhammer 12-03-2009 04:55 PM

Some people have bald/skinheads because they look complete idiots growing it if they have a big receding hairline. If you are losing your hair then just shave it off! Even though I am biased being a member of the baldies club I think the look suits me very well and balls to all you who don't like it.

I think your bald-like tendencies are gorgeous.

VeggieLover 12-03-2009 05:31 PM

shaving your head doesn't look bad...i was going to and probably still will at some point in the future. In my opinion ppl start looking ugly when they try to be something that they're not. In the case of balding men (or women) shaving their heads is the opposite of that and therefore a bit better in my opinion. just sayin.

jackhammer 12-03-2009 05:37 PM

I do think that the bald look doesn't suit everyone and some people end up looking like convicts but it really does suit some people.

Ed Norton's primary problem is his god awful goatee. It suits some people, he is not one of them.

ME TOO. I've definitely a funny shape head, but declared years ago that I was going to do this, so I'm still in. I've been growing my hair out for about two years now, and it's down to about 20 inches. Regardless of what Surell thought of my hippy ways to donate it to children, I'm still doing it! Then, buzzing it off! : D

As for ugly things people wear to look attractive - I absolutely loathe Ugz.

WWWP 12-03-2009 08:34 PM

I did a quick look-through and didn't see this posted yet, so maybe it's just me, but I absolutely hate these stupid fucking headbands:

I've seen those worn like normal headbands, though.
The way that's worn is just silly.

I quite love my hair actually and never really intend on shaving it, at least until my hairline receeds, but I always wear a hat anyway.

If you're just teasing me, it's not funny

But if you're serious, I'd suggest you use a straight razor and some cream and go for the smooth route, IMO it always looks better that way. I actually think buzzcuts are harder for girls to pull off than no hair at all, and I don't think they really qualify as bald so if you're gonna do it, might as well go all the way.

Well I'm disappointed went completely over...oh forget it.

boo boo 12-03-2009 09:42 PM

I have a weird philosophy when it comes to headshaving.

Like, the exact opposite of most people. I think of hairyness as being a mostly masculine characteristic, and smoothness being a more feminine one.

It's some kind of consistency thing I have. Men can be hairy all over, so it kinda looks weird for them to be bald headed, especially when they have a lot of hair on their body, so if they shave their heads they should shave their chests too otherwise it looks gross and inconsistant to me.

But since women shave most of their body and men treasure them for their smoother skin, I see head shaving as just being more consistant. More skin, more win. :thumb:

That's just how I see it.

Men = Hairy
Women = Not hairy

It's like how female lions don't have manes. Sorry if that sounds weird.

I think if a woman is attactive with hair, she will look even better bald as it makes her facial features stand out more.

But IMO when guys do it, it just makes them look like escaped convict douchebags (except for you Jack, don't kill me). Men do tend to look better without beards though, only reason I don't shave mine off is out of laziness and being somewhat self conscious about my face.

Anyway, my way of thinking is just weird, but whatever, I know I'm right and everyone else is wrong. :)

So what do you mean? Because two chicks said they're gonna shave their heads I should be freaking out right now?

I'm totally not freaking out.

Aw, I love headbands! But not worn like that chick... it makes her hair look like a weird shape.

Freebase Dali 12-03-2009 09:54 PM

Yeah headbands are hot.

It says "I'm totally a down to earth hippie chick and I may or may not be a wiccan".

And that's hot.

as an aside...

i really don't understand the whole obsession with female hygiene constituting removing every bodily hair possible. i'm not disputing your own taste in women but i much prefer a girl to have some sort of pubis. not an extravagant or untailored bush, mind you, just something to remind me it's an adult female i'm inside and not some prepubescent nymph.

boo boo 12-03-2009 10:26 PM

I'm perfectly fine with pubes. But you know what they say, the carpet should match the drapes.

So, if you get rid of the carpet, get rid of the drapes. ;)

But anyway. A little pube trail on the stomach is fine as long as it isn't REALLY noticable.

If we're talking about a little arm and pit hair, that's fine, but they certainly shouldn't get out of control.

Leg hair is where I draw the line though, it's a defnite turn off for me.

I just like my women to be smooth all over.

....

All over.

Freebase Dali 12-03-2009 10:29 PM

As long as it doesn't look like the girl has Osama Bin Laden's head in a leg-lock, ladies can definitely still be ladies with some hair down there.

A nice landing strip is fine.
