And on a different note, i tried Buckfast recently. God awful stuff.

Yeah it's a pretty common word for them here, it's more of a Dublin word though. We use either skanger, scumbag, sham or knacker.

I doubt that taste could grow on me. A couple of my friends in Ireland drink it and ill never understand why. They acknowledge that it's nasty but they love the stuff anyway. It's really disgusting stuff.

While I agree with a lot of the opinions here I think that, when it comes to fashion/style, you should ultimately do what you want. I may think you look stupid but who cares what I think? You can't please everyone. :)
