Really? The coming of age comedy film where absolutely nothing happens? I thought it was a bit shit myself.

Its a film about 70's teens. Nothing is supposed to happen except for sex, drugs and underage drinking.

I can't think of a decent comedy in which anything actually happens.

A load of people going round bullying those inferior to them, not to mention younger than them just didn't do it for me.

I hope none of that actually goes on over in yank land, I thought you lot were more friendly than that. :(

I am such a hypocritical wanker :( Got the 32gb version. The actual ipod touch is a cool piece of kit but I played it through my sennheisers so now have to buy a smaller user friendly pair of headphones as they sound so much better than the classic white pair you get and I still stick to my original statement that itunes is a terrible interface and not user friendly at all. The amount of albums it has split between multiple folders is shocking and I spent over 5 hours acquiring album covers even though my files already have them.

Sansa Stark 05-08-2010 06:17 PM

If my trip to work was longer I would have gone for a 160gb classic and saved £40 but my work place is only around 12 mins away so it doesn't get a good airing. Looking forward to picking up a decent dock for home. Anyone have any suggestions for something mid range that packs a punch?

I got no idea what goes on now. Im homeschooled.

jackhammer 05-09-2010 06:42 PM

Fecking Itunes. I added an album to my library and wanted it on my ipod, instead it deleted all my previous tunes and is now reloading them so no doubt my PC will be on for hours and I will have to fetch album covers again. Itunes is crap and is not user friendly at all.

Whatever happened to to drag n drop? No I don't want to sync the frigging thing, I just want to add an album to my ipod but you won't let me will ya? £230 for hours of pain? I
knew I should have just bought a bigger memory card for my phone.

gunnels 05-09-2010 06:44 PM

If you're just putting music on there, ditch iTunes and use Mediamonkey instead. It can sync music onto iPods. Much more user friendly too.

jackhammer 05-09-2010 06:48 PM

I don't want to sync. I have far too much music for that. I just want to add an album now and again and as for finding album covers, my entire library has album covers already so why do I have to find them again? The device is a good bit of kit but itunes is a crock.

gunnels 05-09-2010 06:51 PM

You don't have to sync your entire library. You can add an album at a time.

That's what I tried to do by ticking recently added and sync but it decided to delete everything and now is updating the files that were already on there. I spent 6 hours on Friday finding the album covers and I'm not doing it again. A trip to the Apple shop is in order methinks.

sidewinder 05-09-2010 09:16 PM

Might be best to just turn sync off altogether. Then when you add something to your library, all you have to do is drag and drop the files into the iPod and it syncs that only.
