Was in the market for a decent little practice amp, and found this gem at a pawn shop. 5W at max power, but can be set to 1.5 or .5 watts. Plus, it's actually really fun to play with the onboard effects. I'll be investing in a nice tube amp eventually, but this one does everything I wanted it to do, and then some. It did, however, reiterate to me that upgrading my pick-ups wouldn't be the worst thing. They're a little muddled in the midrange. |
