Were they all brand new?

I've got those but they don't get listened to cos my stereo system is from about 1983 and worth 50p.

Used, but in great condition. Picked up all three from my local record store for just over $50.

For our little baby kitty. We've been wanting to get him one for a while now, and with the price being basically a steal, I went ahead and bought it. Very excited for it to get here.

Prince - Sign O' The Times

I just bought the CD cos I have been trying to steal it online for a while and couldn't find it & all the torrents were shit quality so decided to buy the CD and use the AutoRip thingy on Amazon.

Order goes through & 5 mins later payment is declined cos I still have my old bank card registered, but I'd already ripped the CD.

Updated my details and paid for it anyway cos I'm real on road like that >>>

I went a little bit nuts this weekend.

Marantz SR19EX

Philips BTM2180/37 Micro Music System

JBL Charge 2 Blutooth Wireless Speaker (This thing kicks some serious booty).

Squier Strat w/Fender Frontman 10G amp

I got the Marantz to pair up with my main system speakers (JBL L200 Studio Masters), the Phillips system for a friend, the JBL Charge 2 is for use out on the disc golf course (which made it's first appearance yesterday), and the Strat/Amp were something I grabbed at a garage sale for an extremely good price. I haven't played a Strat since my days with Koncrete Pillo, and although it's a cheap one, it's in really good shape. The neck is straight, no fret buzz, and the intonation isn't too terrible. If anything, I'll use it for a knock around guitar until I give it to someone.

All justifiable purchases. Even the nose hair trimmers I got, since I'm friggin old and have hair growing out of some unusual places.

More stuff this weekend for the SUV:

Kenwood 6.2" CDDVD Builtin Bluetooth Apple iPodReady InDash Receiver Black DDX372BT - Best Buy

Kicker CX Series 1200W Class D Mono Amplifier with Variable LowPass Crossover Black 12CX12001 - Best Buy

Kicker TCompS10 10" SingleVoiceCoil 4Ohm Subwoofer with Enclosure Black 40TCWS104 - Best Buy

I'll be getting a better sub down the road sometime, but as it is, this thing packs a whallop. Back massage and the rear view mirror dance are in full force.

Spoiler for sadas:

Mouse: G100s / Keyboard: G105

So, I had a long week. And I decided to treat myself. Everything i've ever owned is made by Logitech, and that includes wireless mice, headsets, etc. So, feel free to say your hate towards Logitech, however i'm really excited to have these. Both the keyboard and mouse are extremely comfortable and nice to use. Very happy with my purchase.

Default Birthday Binge

Started off the week ordering various hanging lanterns as part of a boho-chic redecoration project for our bedroom.

Then two days ago I hit up a record show and took home a number of Klaus Schulze original Brain label pressings. Really happy with those purchases.

Got a shameless hipster bag yesterday - a smashing leather bag perfect for walking/biking with my tablet in tow to the office each morning.

Also yesterday my pre-ordered copy of How Music Got Free arrived in the post. Read it cover to cover by nightfall and absolutely loved it.

Then today I went antiquing for my birthday. Bought a set of ruby+gold Victorian goblets, a new cane with an engraved gold top, an oversize book of jazz musician portraits, and put an Edison Cylinder Phonograph on hold for future purchase.

Here are the glasses:

And the jazz book:

Here's the Edison:

Also bought a pair of 70s plaid wool slacks and a 70s sports jacket to celebrate in style.

Here's the cane, pants, and jacket:

Also pre-ordered a German import deluxe edition vinyl release of The Orb's upcoming album which shipped today.

And last night I bought my fiance an 8GB MP3 player off Amazon so that she'd kindly return my Creative Zen X-Fi 32GB + SD media player. That thing is a TANK!

Quite a few days of purchases. I plan to cool it in the weeks ahead.

Does it ever bother you that you are the definition of hipster?
