You have GOT to do a video where you play the baddest blackest metal solo on that thing! Refusal is simply not an option.

It's so good, people are speechless. Eighty eight views and not one reply.

Here's my actual review on FB, after posting about resisting the urge to take it out of it's packaging:

Quote:
Update: I played it for a few hours, just to make sure the strings would hold up under extreme conditions (because you know how Bri Bri likes to rock it like Pete Townsend), and after the initial string stretching, I found that it actually held it's tuning through some pretty aggressive paces. I was fairly impressed with it and literally couldn't put it down. At one point I was even considering going back to the store to buy another one for myself. The tones were warm, there was no fret buzz, and the intonation wasn't terrible, like I thought it might be. My captive audience, which consisted of Thomas <snip> and Patrick <snip>, were too awestruck (read laughing hysterically) to grab some video, but I did manage to exercise all the bad mojo out of it and instill some good mojo into it, and then promptly put it back in it's box and sent it off with Jeanette <snip> for the final stages of packaging. I seriously enjoyed setting it up, and making sure things were in their proper places, and I hope it brings Brianna many years of joy and musical wonderment.
Here's Brianna opening it for her B-Day:

I find your behavior offensive, mister. You've been reported for self-promotive spam.

My nephew has one similar to that, except it's Monsters, Inc.

Honestly it's not bad, save for the tuners which go out of tune insanely quickly.

Strange that the picture of that thing that I originally posted up was the exact one I had purchased, but now it's all ornate and a bit different. *shrug* Someone felt like updating the stock photo I guess.

Squier makes a Hello Kitty strat too, and there was a vid of Steve Stevens playing it live on stage, but I can't seem to find it now.

I don't think it has been made for a while and is now highly collectible. To see a recent video review, put eJoa74llJDk in the YouTube search box field, or Google for the video with the title "Hello Kitty Squier Stratocaster Demo Review"

I have a 2005 PINK version KIT that I have listed on ebay (user 1979-mgb ) that I'm selling to help pay for a new guitar purchase, if anyone is interested.

Awhile back, I mentioned in my journal (Stuck in the Garage, not the weird Disco thing) that it was originally the song "I Don't Love You No More" by The Continental Coets that got me into obscure underground and garage music from the 1960s. In fact, that was the reason why the very first thing I reviewed when I started my journal was the Girls in the Garage compilation (which featured the song). Anyway, I tracked down an original copy of their 45! Behold, a blurry picture:
