Those youngins being so different really pisses me off. **** all of those...not hippies because they were different for a reason...I guess they're just more hip than me so...how about hipsters? Ja, **** those hipster assholds.

No offense taken; I just enjoyed having a bit of fun with it. :)

Ah, so you did all the hipster stuff before it was cool. That's different then.

(Just pulling your leg, man.;))

Absolutely! Hence my self-identifying as the "Meta-Hipster!" :)

Are there actually people who define themselves as hipsters? I always thought nobody does that and that's what's funny about the whole thing.

Lisa Borodkin, a resident of Williamsburg had an interesting perspective in response to this very question. I highly recommend it for a more positive framing of the subculture.

Are you a musician? What do you use the mic for?

Streaming with friends / gaming with friends. A friend of mine has the mic and the quality is fantastic.

Got some new rubber for the dirt bike yesterday. It's a bit beefier than the original. Lawns will be shredded. I don't know why, but this makes me really, really happy. I just like staring at it.

Incredible sound quality. I was using some pretty fabulous cable but switching it with this sounds like a filter has been removed between my speakers and my ears. Incredible.

I bought a keyboard as the one I currently use is too loud when you press the keys, does my nut in.

New keyboard arrived and it's tiny, needs bluetooth as well which my laptop does not have.

Works with my phone though.

Can't be arsed to send it back.

Last thing was a bottle of this shit:

And some samosas, from my local shop. It's a normal off license/corner shop but they have this heater thingy on the counter where they sell Indian food they make in the shop, never seen that before. Genius idea. Got all sorts in it, onion bhajis, samosas, pakoras and foil trays with curry in.

I decided to buy it because although I don't know when i'll get around to playing it, it's nice to have it whenever I feel like playing a different story under the same franchise. If anything, i'll just play both at the same time since they're two different stories.

Picked up these over the weekend:

Cordoba GK Studio Negro
https://www.cordobaguitars.com/p/gk-studio-negra

Digitech Trio
DigiTech Trio Band Creator Pedal | Sweetwater.com

The Cordoba is an amazing instrument, absolutely no problem there at all, and the Trio is fun, but it can get monotonous after a while, and the bass lines tend to stray from the desired chord structures at times. Good for some improv'ing though.

The best part of this whole purchase was shopping at a local Mom and Pop shop for the Cordoba. It really was an enjoyable experience talking to the owner and have him set me up with two similar guitars, a nice chair, and a custom guitar stand. I played each for a while, went through a couple of different configurations, and then made my decision. It was all very friendly and personable, and the owner was extremely knowledgeable, and was sincerely interested in finding me something I'd enjoy. That's pretty rare.
