I thought it was like a slingshot for your discs to launch them hella far.

Plankton 08-29-2019 11:52 AM

I'm saving up for that.

Have you considered a catapult?

Many, many times.

Depends on the circumstances.

If it's a shallow stream I'll usually just trudge through the water and deal with wet feet for a while. If it's a lake or river or anything over my knee, she gone.

It sucks pretty hard, but you get used to it after a few throws.

Hope there's a long stick somewhere nearby. Barring that hope there's a log to walk on and maybe some reeds to grab for balance. And then be very, very careful. My course is right next to a marsh so it's not just water you gotta worry about, it's mud that'll go up to your knees and suck your shoe right off your foot.

Nice edit, Perkins.

Yes, definitely use a stick/log/whatever if there's one long enough. There's a video of 4 people creating a human chain trying fruitlessly to get some kids disc out of a pond, and then Paul McBeth comes up and grabs a stick and just pulls it in like a boss. I can't find it though.

That's like playing guitar, then suddenly your guitar goes in the water, so you pull out a triangle.
