A Zippo lighter. It will be a gift for my friend. He smokes. Also, he likes camping and hiking and said several times that a good lighter is one of the main things he always takes with him. I found a site https://www.tbagents.com/subcategory/zippo-lighters that offers a significant selection of lighters. I decided that Zippo would be the best choice. I hope my friend will like it.

Earplugs for concerts that purportedly eliminate the loudness while allowing the music to be heard rather than muffled. We shall see.

I'm actually considering this for the upcoming Pat Travers show in two weeks. We are front row on Pat's side of the stage.

I never would have considered this before my last concert but now a little hearing protection seems totally reasonable. I was against the stage for The Dictators planted in front of Ross 'The Boss'. You might remember Ross as the guitarist from the mega loud band, Man O War. This was one of the few times that sheer volume nearly folded me over.

I of course will use the excuse that I'm taking them for my wife in case she wants them.
