I'm pretty pumped. I copped two autographed LPs in the last week.
I got an autographed copy of Swans' To Be Kind (autographed by Gira): https://younggodrecords.com/products/to-be-kind And I also just copped an autographed copy of Alvvays latest album (Blue Rev), autographed by the whole band: https://www.newburycomics.com/produc...42046288789684 It'd only be more special if I got it autographed in person, but I'll take it. |
Got a 25% off entertainment center so I'll no longer have to stare up at my tv on my dresser. Circling the drain of adulthood.

The blu ray collection for Superman: The Animated Series from the 90s. As a kid from that era this show was huge for me but I wasn't really cool enough to admit liking something as lame as Superman but god damn Superman rules and this is probably the best Superman thing. Currently watching the three part crossover with Batman: The Animated Series cause why not just have everything be awesome?

I have a 55" 4k TV now just cause that's the max size that could fit my new entertainment center and obviously I knew it would be bigger than my 40", but ... damn. Considering how close my couch is to my setup, that's a big ****ing TV. I think I get why people join right wing death squads to kill communists now.
|
I have a "42 inch and it suits me just fine. Bought my step-father a 42 also as it was the largest that would fit inside his TV stand.

The last thing I bought that truly transformed my entertainment experience was a Firestick https://www.firestickhow.com/best-kodi-builds.html. The convenience of streaming, the wide array of apps, and the endless content choices have made it an invaluable addition to my home. Whether I'm diving into the latest movies, binging on TV shows, or exploring new apps, my Firestick has made it all seamless.

A shirt :D Just got my latest tee from Dive Bar Shirt Club, and I'm thrilled with it. The dive bar shirt club customer service team was super helpful when I needed a size exchange. Their unique designs are always a conversation starter. What's the most interesting thing anyone else has picked up recently?

Some cookie dough for my birthday.

A Zippo lighter. It will be a gift for my friend. He smokes. Also, he likes camping and hiking and said several times that a good lighter is one of the main things he always takes with him. I found a site https://www.tbagents.com/subcategory/zippo-lighters that offers a significant selection of lighters. I decided that Zippo would be the best choice. I hope my friend will like it.

Earplugs for concerts that purportedly eliminate the loudness while allowing the music to be heard rather than muffled. We shall see.
|
I'm actually considering this for the upcoming Pat Travers show in two weeks. We are front row on Pat's side of the stage.
I never would have considered this before my last concert but now a little hearing protection seems totally reasonable. I was against the stage for The Dictators planted in front of Ross 'The Boss'. You might remember Ross as the guitarist from the mega loud band, Man O War. This was one of the few times that sheer volume nearly folded me over. I of course will use the excuse that I'm taking them for my wife in case she wants them. |
The last thing I bought was a new pair of mandala scrubs. They're super comfortable, and I love how stretchy and durable they are. Definitely worth it if you're in healthcare or just want something practical and stylish for work!

Some toys for my doggo, along with a few health essentials. Recently tried Canadian Pharmacy for some affordable pet meds—it’s convenient and reliable! Always a good feeling to stock up on things that keep my pup happy and healthy.

Six pack of Eliott Ness Amber Lager brewed by Great Lakes Brewing Co..

The last thing I bought was a big pack of vitamin D and some melatonin. I've been trying to stay on top of my sleep and mood lately. I usually order my stuff through a Pharmacy B2B site because it's convenient and reliable. It saves me time and money, especially when I bulk-buy essentials.

I bought some meds
