Haha! I guess I have a reputation now!

Ohh not like THAT sillyhead! I'm talking about back in the 70s with those colognes that could burn nosehair. I tend to prefer light ethereal scents, with an exception for winter fragrances and ones I use for night time wear. That's when I break out my orientals and gourmands and get to smell like a bakery.

Along with all my other weird genres!

But anywho, I was on Luckyscent and after selling a long discontinued fragrance (Dolce & Gabbana By Man) for $140, I decided to pick up a few samples.

Costume National's 21 (again)

Absolutely beautiful stuff. Soft and creamy, contrasted with spices and incense. Perfectly balanced.

L'Artisan Parfumeur's Mure et Musc

A fragrance based around blackberries! How perfect is that.

Miller Harris' Tangerine Vert

Mandarine Basilic made me wanna find another realistic orange fragrance. This one sounds like it could be perfect.

And on a different note, I got a new font!

It reminds me of one of my favorite slab serif fonts (Archer), so I knew I needed it.

So you really do have a collection of fragrances? Take a picture of your setup/collection

I want to see it.

What other rare colognes/perfumes do you own?

It's quite small, but here's one I took for Basenotes awhile back:

As for the second question, Dolce & Gabbana's By Man is the only real "rare" one. Although I do own samples (which are enough for me most of the time) of Dior's Eau Noire which retails for around $355, Amouage's Dia Man which retails for $250-$300, Creed's Windsor which retails for $600, and Kenzo's UFO which retailed for around $300. It was a limited release, and had a specially designed bottle:

Pure Malt will soon be hard to find, as it just got discontinued again.

I had no idea that such a thing existed. Collecting rare colognes I mean.

Yeah it's definitely not common.. which I think is part of its appeal to me.

hmmm I want to start a collection of something. I just have to figure out what it is that I'd like to get into collecting. I might go back to my high school collection of Anime and continue building that up again.
