yes! every once in a while there is actual discussion. most of the time it is:
a: i think album x is better, usually without much of an explanation.
b: im new, which is the best album to get?
c: i love radiohead!!!

There's nothing wrong with b, it's just people wondering what album to start off with. However yes unexplained arguments and annoying fanboyism can piss me off anywhere, not just when talking about Radiohead

If everyone asks B, then they're not reading back to all of the OTHER people who asked B and then it's just people repeating the same things over and over again.

People would ask about some question that would loosely be related to a band. I.e. "So whats your favorite band"

"oh man i like Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, and Led Zepplin. For Modern stuff i like, White Stripes, Kings of Leon, and Modest Mouse"

The question was about bands, not thieves. how's about that nerd stop stealing from black blues singers and just sticks to ripping off tolkin...

In no was is that on topic, its thinly veiled egotistical look-at-me-ism and its drives me ****ing batty.
