Been working on a story for awhile. Pretty much started off as just a way of getting some practice in, and keeping busy. Put in about 500 words a day. Up to 27,000 now. Still not totally sure what it's really about. That's always exciting.

^Gucci.

I've added about 3 pages to The Hourglass and I'm aiming to expand it into a book about pirates.

I've got a bunch of comics that I made as a kid. All incredibly terribly written and drawn. I'm actually glad that I stopped writing both short stories and comics. Just wasn't one of my skills - that much was obvious.

One day I will get back on my Lovecraftian Poison Ivy story. By a wide margin the thing I'm most proud of.

Do it.

And come up with your own villain. No offense to Poison Ivy, but you could make better. You're a creative drunken bastard.

I'm writing a children's story that takes inspiration from both folklore and "funny animal" cartoons like Tom and Jerry, a short story that plays with time a lot involving a rapist deep in Kentucky woodland being hunted by a woman who he believes is a Mexican spirit of death, and I'm considering a post apocalyptic science fiction story that takes place somewhere out west in Montana or something.

Nah it's the point. Ivy doesn't get nearly as much love as she deserves as a sci-fi horror villain with hints of Lovecraft.
