I've honestly been contemplating lately ditching writing reviews and moving on to more editorial-based stuff. I've gotten really bored writing them in the past several months and I have a conniption when I repeat myself and/or feel I'm lacking creativity in my writing, both of which tend to pop up when I'm writing music reviews.

Reading innerspace's stuff has made me think that I could put my slightly above average writing skills to better use writing pieces about certain bands, scenes and genres. I was thinking of doing a retrospective piece on the history of nu jazz for my webzine but nothing's concrete yet.
