You could happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and make money from lawsuit settlements.
This could involve anything from getting hit by a company owned vehicle that's breaking a traffic law... to slipping and breaking an elbow in the lobby of a company that has no caution cones during a humid or rainy morning.

If a person can sue McDonald's for burning themselves with hot coffee because there were no warnings on the cup that the coffee would be hot, then anything is possible.

Of course, I'm not condoning frivolous lawsuits... But if you're going to resort to shady methods of gaining money quickly, you're better off taking it from those who either deserve it or can afford it.

I've venture a guess that the McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit is the most wildly used, but least factually recited lawsuit.

The facts of the case: The Actual Facts about the Mcdonalds' Coffee Case

In a nutshell: McDonalds was a fault, they were super heating their coffee to ridiculous temperatures without warning people that their coffee was in some cases over 60 degrees hotter than other places. The lady knew the coffee was hot, but when the 180-190 degree coffee spilled on her, giving her third degree burns on 6% of her body, then she sues to recoup medical expenses.

Of course, you'll go to jail for life but you'll be able to live like a king for a few days. Or you could steal people's credit cards and buy a bunch of **** online.

If you don't want to go to jail, I go to this place and do work, and every 2 weeks money magically appears in my bank account. It's actually really cool, you should try it. And, if you really need money, you can work at 2 places, and then every couple weeks you'll get money in your bank account twice! Neat huh? I don't really think there are many other good ways to get money than by actually working, unless you actually do win the lottery or get an inheritance or something. Sorry to disappoint :p

hes not old enough for a job, unless in the US, the working age is lower than the UK's :(

mr dave 10-16-2009 06:33 PM

how old do you have to be to get a part time job? i've been collecting an above the table paycheck since i was 15. under the table since i was 11.

FETCHER. 10-16-2009 07:28 PM

well here, you cant get a job legally until your 16.
unless it isnt through the books (cash in hand if you like) then people can be hired from 15yrs old but thats illegal, and the laws much stricter now, so most places are through the books. plus if its cash in hand, your likely to be under minimum wage. which wouldnt be worth it!

Wow, I hadn't read that before. Thanks for the info.
Yea I definitely used that case as an example without having enough actual knowledge about it, which was stupid of me... but I think that regardless of the example, we both know the point I was trying to get across.

Anyway, thanks again for the informative mention.
:)

It's become somewhat of a passion of mine to correct people on that lawsuit for some reason. Funny that the opportunity would occur here :)

Cheers to that.

There is so many ways to come up on the mulla.Ive had offers thrown at me which I never took and dont regret. One was to drive cross country and deliver some... uuuh white powdery substance. That was so tempting since it was 15k cash, but I passed, didnt want to risk getting caught then booty ra*ed in prison.

What I have done is buy wrecked cars that run, from an auction, fix em and profit.I bought a saturn for $700,invested about $200 and sold it for 1900.Recycling use to pay good too.I hear they give good money for taking off the tabs off cans and recycling those(has to be about a gallons worth they say)Is this true?
