I might watch that Frankie Boyle DVD cause ive been unimpressed with his stand up so far, but ive only seen him once on Live at the Apollo.

He's quite good I think, not as good as others though, but he's a right sarcastic bastard, and likes to slag Scotland, so you'll like him

All i remember from his stand up was him slagging the audience and jokes ive heard before. I wasnt impressed at all. I have no idea what the content of that DVD or others he might have is though so ill probably give him a shot. I do like him on Mock the Week.

The DVD is basically the same thing.

I watch him come onstage and start insulting some of the audience, after a while you wonder when he's going to start his act.
45 minutes in he's still doing it and stopping occasionally to tell a joke you've heard on mock the week before carrying on insulting the audience some more.

I actually fell asleep during it.

I think he's a really funny guy, in fact I think he's probably the funniest guy on TV right now but his stand up show is paper thin on jokes and the guy severely needs to write some new material.

Disappointing.
