In my area we had snow most of December, all of January, some of February. Up north is still covered in snow though, obviously the highlands are still snowed over! But I'm glad there's no snow here, really glad.

Over the past week or so, my school has been closed three times and has had one two-hour delay. Today is the third day, and tomorrow is looking filled with snow as well. I am content.

The first storm we had we only got 2-3" then now we got 15".. and are forecast for another 4-7". It's not tool cold though (in the mid 30s) and it's almost Spring so I just deal with it.

That's probably where I would choose to live if I was doing the student apartment thing (I think you said you're coming here for school?). Can't remember if you said you already have lived in Austin - if you have then you already know all your live underground hip-hop (and anything else underground, really) will be in the clubs on Red River. Although I saw Doom in a club that's in a more gentrified part of downtown. In any case, you'll be walking distance from probably all the live music you will want to see.

Oh yeah, snow; there has been none in Austin this year. I prefer warm climates.

We're gonna have a couple inches today. It's not as bad as last week's snow, so I can't complain. Besides, the snow's been melting relatively quickly.

Thanks man, good looking out. I haven't lived there since I was a baby, but I've visited a few times. Is there website or paper that has a good collection of upcoming shows that you know of?
