firefox, no contest.

i can't operate without adblock, flashgot, gmail manager, quickdrag, redirect remover, and the awesome tineye plugin.

makes my browser slow as piss to start up, but browsing is very efficient

I am a Firefox user, having a few days ago just upgraded to version 3.6.

Firefox is slow but very cool.. I find internet explorer really fast if all I want a quick search on google or something along the lines

I use Chrome most of the time, it's by far the most efficient web browser. My second choice is Opera which i use the odd time but Chrome is just simpler to use.

Whats so great about it anyway? On the commercials they advertise being able to go to sites and search in the same address box, but IE does that too, and has been for longer than Chrome has been around.

Yes but the current version of IE is lagging way behind the others in terms of speed. Microsoft are determined to change that though when they fully release IE 9, i guess we'll see what happens. I just find Chrome to be the fastest and most reliable for browsing, and it hardly ever freezes on me.
