I was having a lot of problems with Internet Explorer, so I downloaded Firefox.
Chrome is another browser, right?
Anything special?

I've used FF since it came out and I have no complaints with it now that the bad old days of memory leaks are behind us. I used Opera a long time ago (2002 I think) so I have no idea what it's like nowadays. I've yet to try Chrome.

I'd like to have a look at the FF source sometime and have a fiddle with it, but it's so customisable that there's no need.

No idea but imagine trying to develop an add-on for IE... M$ would most likely force you to use their proprietary software.

I use FF, too bad the thing is still a ****ing pig (Though that might have to do with all the add-ons )

Chrome is FF without the 3rd party support.

You realise there's plenty of plugins and stuff for chrome now right? I'm running it with adblock.

I'd been using Firefox for the past 2-3 years at home and at work, but I recently switched to Chrome at home. Firefox was just giving me too many problems...it was occasionally crashing and was taking up way too much memory most of the time. Sometimes it would just get bogged down, I finally got fed up. Chrome is leaner, though there are a few things I miss about Firefox.

I'm not saying there aren't any add-ons, but FF has a heckuva lot more.

I have used Opera for around 4 years now and find it unfussy and full of easy features although I seem to be having a damn problem with youtube vids but only direct from the site. FF plays them fine and I use that as back up. IE is absolutely useless.
