Speedball (Drink)
 

I'm not talking about the hard drugs cocktail. my friend is trying to get the word out on this drink so he wamts me on to share with you all a pretty good mixer (it's a little bit redkneck but oh well).

Take 1 can Redbull Energy Drink

Empty roughly 1/4 of the liquid.

Pour Coconut rum (or alcohol of choice) directly into the can until you reach near the top.

Give it a good twirl.

You've got a speedball - the redbull and the rum counteract each other and it's a pretty sweet pseudo-high. It tastes good, there is the slight after taste of Flintstones tablets (like when you drink redbull) but beyond that it's a perfectly enjoyable drink.

Interesting. Not really a fan of rum myself, but I'll give it a try next time I run into a bit of cash.

If we're talking cocktails, I'm more a fan of this one;

blended malt whiskey (2 shots) + sweet vermouth (1 shot) + dry vermouth (1 shot)

Stick a slice of lemon in it and you've got the cheap equivalent of a perfect Manhattan. I usually start feeling it after two or three, so it's pretty stuff.

Oh, and anyone under the legal drinking age, don't try this at home :D

I've had too many Vodka & Redbulls to ever consider using an energy drink in an alcoholic scenario ever again. Ugh.... Worst hangover in existence.

But, in the interest of contributing to the creativity, Back when I was in the military a friend and I came up with a nifty tasting beverage that will have you retching in thought of it, but converted by the taste.

1 ice cold can of MUG rootbeer soda (or equivalent creamy rootbeer soda,) Poured into a large chilled mug (Or just one part, if not using the whole can)
1-third-part ice cold Jagermeister
1 splash of Grenadine
Ice
STIRRED, not shaken.


If you have mixed it correctly, your drink will now taste like an ice-cream rootbeer float. The Jagermeister is somehow... undisgustingized when mixed with the rootbeer, and actually adds to the flavor in a positive way. The Grenadine adds a bit of cherry flavor, the ice does what ice does, and you get nice and tipsy after a couple of these because this thing drinks like dessert.

It's thick enough for a man.. tasty enough for a woman... and you should probably keep this far, far away from your children.

It's a joke, but if you really dissect the concept, it's completely wrong.

Guys drink rootbeer when they're not drinking regular beer, right? I mean... no guy drinking a Mug rootbeer would be jumped in the streets for not being man enough to drink a Sprite, or a Coca-Cola. Then, you take your rootbeer, and add alcohol to it, Jager to boot? Sounds like extra manliness to me... as long as it isn't Pucker. There is no justification for that.

Totally agreed. Although I am pretty much a pussy when it comes to the juice. Speaking of, i've never had Jagermeister.
