So what exactly Defines a "Post"?

I know that I have made more replies to posts than 13, and I know that I have not made 13 new threads. So what exactly defines a post?

Does this forum have a line counter that arbitrarily says that anything over 5 lines is a post?

Or are posts added to your count manually by a moderator?

This is very puzzling to me.

Only posts made in the music forums are counted.
