What about words we love?

By the way I hate the word love.

21stCenturyAndroidMan 06-15-2010 12:06 AM

ok here's one I heard the other day, I nearly vomited.

Hillair, apparently a cool way of saying hillairious. Bah!

DoctorSoft 06-15-2010 12:46 AM

Beauty.

People where I live don't use it to describe something like "Oh, the beauty of nature!"(Actually that's pretty retarded too, but whatever). They say "What a beauty!", after someone does something funny. It's so stupid. I swear I just wanna drop someone after they say that. Two sounds, ya get what I'm saying?

Also, the word smooth. Say it over and over again. Now you know why I hate it.

"scuse" pisses me off. Why can't people have the decency to say "excuse me"?

Also, "soz". And "butch".

i've never understood this. i know it means sorry, but is it just an internet thing? or do people actually say it? if so, do they say "soe-z" or "sawz?" maybe "soe-tz," like nazi = natzi? wtf? it makes no sense to me why that's even slang for sorry... one could just say "sry"...

My 52-year-old dad said it twice in the car the other day. I almost cried.
