I really don't understand why so many people spell it with the "A-T-E". It's not like that's how it sounds.

When I'm not concentrating I'm awful for saying "definetly" I know how to spell definitely I'm not a moron. Just when I'm not concentrating I spell things wrong quite often.

When I'm in a hurry/not concentrating I spell things how I say them... I say definitely like definetly... :)
