I wouldn't say I hate 'Dude' (along with Mate, Man, Fella at the end of sentences), for me it's just annoying because it's so overused.

I'm going to add 'skank' to my list. I don't know why, but I really, really hate that word.

I hate it cos it's so blokey, especially 'mate'. I only do it when I meet a stranger and I feel uncomfortable. But I've stopped doing it recently. I used to have a friend who would call me mate a lot. I felt like saying "Yes. We're fucking friends. You don't need to remind me all of the fucking time."
